Made by people who have stood in the community hall
TrustLedger SRM is built by Chibase Consulting, a South African social facilitation and stakeholder engagement firm, founded in 2016 and B-BBEE Level 1.
Why we built it
Across decades of work on roads, housing and public works programmes, we saw the same thing again and again: projects lost community trust not because they did nothing, but because nobody could show what had been promised and what had been done.
Notebooks went missing. Staff moved on. Disputes turned on memory. We built TrustLedger so the record stays with the project, and so communities, contractors and clients can all point to the same facts.
What we believe
- Promises are operational risk. A forgotten commitment costs more than a kept one.
- Communities bring assets, not just complaints. TrustLedger supports an asset-based approach to community development.
- People make the decisions. AI can help with the paperwork, but a person always applies and owns what is saved.
- The record belongs to the project. It should outlast any one consultant, including us.
Software and people, together or apart
You can use TrustLedger on its own, or bring in Chibase Consulting for social facilitation on the ground. When Chibase joins a project team, the project runs on TrustLedger.
